I'm on the ball!
I said I should comment more than once every 3 weeks, so here we are, barely 2 weeks after my last post, so I'm on the ball, right? Bah, yeah, I've been bad at updating. So what's gone on with me?
Well, I got back to Waterloo on the 7th, and started classes the next morning. I sometimes think I'm taking a relatively easier term, but I am taking 4 4th year courses and a pure math 3rd year. I still keep thinking whether I want to be even lazier, and drop a course, leaving me with 4 courses this term, or whether I want to keep with the full load. I have until Friday to decide, so I'll weigh my options and decide.
Otherwise, I finally got my car. I was having so much trouble getting insurance set up, since all these companies wanted to wait for a letter from my old Alberta insurance, which was slow in coming. Anyways, I finally just got a more expensive policy, which will get cheap once I get them the letters, as long as they come within a few weeks. But for now, I have my car, which is nice. It's starting to get a bit dirty, from actually driving it around, and the intermitten snow and rain this week, but I like it. Up to 500 KM on it, mainly from driving in to Toronto this weekend to visit Dan, who has set up shop in Toronto, and driving him around to look at beds and couches.
So, life is going good. Nice to be back in Waterloo, and seeing everyone around here again. I've been skating once on campus so far, and I will try to get out at least once or twice a week to that. I've also joined our math club dodgeball team, so we have our first game next week, which should be something else to keep active.
And otherwise in life, I'm trying to plan the standard trip to Europe for May, after I graduate. And since I finally have a reading week, I'm trying to plan a Mexico voyage for Spring break. it's coming close, but I think we're at the point where as soon as we see a good place at a good price, we'll just book it and go for it. It'll be nice to relax on a beach for a week.
