1. How did you hear about the shootings at Virginia Tech? A colleague told me at the end of the school day
2. Do you know anyone who was directly effected? Yes, one of the students shot(but not killed) was an alumnus of the school I teach at and was a former student of mine
3. Will you be observing a moment of silence at noon to honor those killed on Monday? I believe our school is doing that.
4. How do you feel about NBC's decision to air portions of the shooter's manifesto? Unnecessary media sensationalism
5. When you are hurting, do you have people to turn to? Tons of people...family, friends, colleagues, my church, excellent neighbors, etc.
