Yesterday I finished listening to Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin. This is the story of Mr and Mrs Bennet, their five daughters, and the various romantic adventures at their Hertfordshire residence of Longbourn. It especially focuses on the tempestuous relationship between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, but I found myself wishing that they story did not end with the various couples getting together, but that it would continue with the growth of their families as well. (Summary adapted from Bibliomania)
The recording was produced by The Audio Partners Publishing Corporation. Irene Sutcliffe did an excellent job of reading the text. While she did not really try to maintain distinguishable voices for all of the characters, it was very enjoyable to listen her.
