Dear Buddhists voting Yes on Prop 8,
How can it be okay for a gay couple to live together and act as a married couple but not okay for them to actually be married? To not allow them to have the same rights as between a man and a woman??? DUBS TEE EFF.
Because marriage is supposed to be between a man and a woman? Oh yeah, kind of like when women were supposed to only be slaves to men. Times have changed.
ANd besides that, most people don't even KNOW the history of marriage, so who are they to say what is okay in context of marriage. My mom claims it's not okay because it's against the law. WELL DUH. That's the whole point. like wtf? Can they just freakin google it or wikipedia it?
