The radio stations in Windsor kick ass.  Almost all day today I was listening to a super Misty-friendly mix of disco, funk, & motown all on one station.  Made me want to rollerskate.

I ran today.  Spent a total of 30 minutes on the treadmill.  I accomplished 10 minutes of straight jogging.  Considering that it has been probably over 6 months (close to a year?) since I jogged at all, that is DAMN good (for me anyway).  When I first started jogging, I could only run for 1 or 2 minutes at a time, tops.  So I guess even after all my slacking and junk eating and everything, I am still in better shape than I was a few years ago.  Woot.  In fact, I could have (and wanted to) run more, but didn't want to be crippled tomorrow.  Figured I should wait and see how badly I damaged myself today before I get too gung ho.

I will give some credit for my unexpected success today to NIN's new album.  It's a good one.  Excellent running music.

It really feels good to indulge my fight or flight 'mechanism'.  That run was way more relaxing than anything I have done in a long time.  I am definitely joining a gym (probably the Y?) and making this a habit.  This, yoga, maybe tai chi, and maybe something more violent like kick boxing.  But one thing at a time.  Even 30 min to 1 hr on the treadmill a few times a week will make a world of difference for me right now!!

My mattress at this hotel appears to be foam.  I don't think there is a single spring in it.  I haven't decided if I like it or not.  I don't think I do.  It's really squishy.
