First things first, CAS IS OVER NOW. I have just finished compiling my reflections, self-evaluations, and log sheets into one spanking, pretty neat, transparent duo-tang, and dun' it juss look gohgeous?
Oh wow, *sorry for intruding on this thread* W00T IB!
Just wanted to add that I'm taking IB in Unionville, in the suburbs of Toronto Ontario, and am pleased to see more Ibers!
Also, on the topic of IB, did you hear about that issue going on in Pittsburgh where they got rid of the IB program and called it "un-American and Marxist" only to have the entire student population rebel and now they're getting death threats?
(oh and, just in case anyone is remotely interested, I took Maths SL, Bio SL, French SL, and History HL, Chemistry HL, and English A1 HL as well.
Wow. Your extended essay sounds fascinating, though i would have assumed it was more a historical essay than an English one.
My extended essay was in philosophy/religion (I can't remember which one I submitted in under in the end) and the topic was essentially "An Investigation Evaluating the moral validity of the Roman Catholic Church's condemnation of the homosexual act". It was by far the most interesting topic I've ever researched.
And it turns out they revoked the decision in the end- the parents sued them and once the litigation costs went past $200,000.00 they gave up and brought IB back. Talk about a good old-fashioned "educated-parents-beat-ignorant-decisions-makers-story" =).
Yay! IBers. You understand the pain of CAS paperwork. Honestly, those question *sigh*.
Les macarons will hopefully be posted, but I'm not sure if I'll do it on bakebakebake since someone already posted them before. I guess it depends on how they look =).
