I was not "flipping out" over my changed gender. And I do not teach my class with the intention of making them all fail - I intend for them to learn.

And as you are not my student, my teaching methods should be none of your concern.

Not your teaching methods, lady, I'm sure they're perfectly fine. I meant your torture methods. You don't give a problem some college graduates have trouble with to high school kids unless you've got some sort of steam to vent.

Really? And yet my students did rather well. None of them solved it, of course, but several of them has some very good insights. If I had not pushed them, they would not have discovered what they are capable of.
