Quick entry, since it's been a few months: I'm sort of taking a couple of weeks of vacation to detox before I jump back into regular updates here, but I have finished the book (and passed my class), and we are now through the copyediting process. I do not have any confirmed information about when or where the book will be available, only that--trust me--we will make it as easy as possible for you to get it if you want it. Seriously, if you hear a knock at your door, it's probably me with a crate of books. So keep an eye here for more on that. Here's what's in it:
1993 Jurassic Park
1995 Braveheart
1996 Independence Day
1997 Titanic
1999 The Matrix
2000 Gladiator
2001 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
2002 Spider-Man
2002 Star Wars: Episode II-Attack of the Clones
2003 Lord of the Rings trilogy
I am not taking requests for online 15Ms at this time because I'm already swamped with summer movies I've seen and should have written up by now. (I haven't decided yet, but I may not be able to post Return of the Sith at all until after the book's come out, because I don't want to give the AOTC jokes away). Once I've rested up a bit, however, something new will go up. In the meantime, I'm back updating my journal; I have to catch up on the last four
Lost recaps when they rerun those episodes, and in the meantime I'm doing ABC's short
Empire series as well. In addition, I'll probably be posting new
icons every now and then to tease the book parodies.
I almost forgot to mention--I've switched over to an S2 layout over here so that I can use the new tag system; both the new layout and the tags should help you find things you want (parodies, icons, announcements) more easily.
And thanks for reading--it's nice to know that y'all haven't completely forgotten me. : )
ETA: Just in case I wasn't clear, the book is actually called "Movies in Fifteen Minutes," and it is under my pen name, Cleolinda Jones (the easier for you to find it). All of the parodies had to be new, which is why none of the online ones are in the book.
