Golden Compass update
I've updated the Golden Compass in Fifteen Minutes entry to post the parody in full, the way I usually do. MegaUpload's reneged on their reward system offer, so there's no point in asking people to jump through hoops to try to read it now. MegaUpload's refusal to pay out (Erin--very wisely--decided to cash out at 100,000 points to see if they would pay at all) is frustrating, but I can't say I'm shocked. We knew it was possibly a long shot, but we were hoping it wouldn't come to this. All I can say is thank you to all of y'all for being willing to help out and put up with a little inconvenience, and if you weren't able to download the text before, I hope you enjoy it now. I still haven't done the Golden Compass icons, but that's because the holidays have been busy. The parody has been posted at the original December 11th entry, so that if y'all have linked to that, people will still be taken to the parody.
