Jesus Christ, just when I thought I'd blown the brains out of enough mutant crabs for one lifetime.

Why does this shit always happen to me? Just my lot in life I guess.

Hey, I've been in the far north side of town but I'm heading south now. If there's anybody else out there, speak up. I'll be glad to hear another human voice.

Well, they was a little more... scorpion-centipede-looking when I ran into 'em before, but same fucking thing.

These ones are a little smaller. Just about as mean though. You don't wanna get bitten by either of 'em too.

Interesting.

And you've run into the big one before as well?

No, never seen anything like her. Closest thing was maybe a twentieth her size, and slimier. And never out in the sunlight.

We've got plenty of people who can kill the little ones, but none who are of any worth with regards to the main threat. You're a duplicate, at best.

Yeah? Big talk.

The big one's slower and there's only one of her. We're more likely to run into the little bastards and more frequently. The more able bodies we've got the better, duplicates or no.

Then learn a little humility, fellow duplicate.

Who's being cocky? We're all nothing but worms as far as it's concerned.
