How I figured out how to attach my tzitziyot without making a hole in the tallit

So without a sewing machine, making holes in my highly delicate tallit fabric and then finishing them in a way that was both practical and pretty was impossible leaving me with the dilemma of how to attach a tzitzit on each of the four corners?? The other problem I had was, my tzitziyot were pre-made for me so I couldnt thread the cotton though the corners and then tie the knots myself, thus securing them to the corners. I needed to use my noggin and solve the design flaw. My first attempt, on the practice tallit was pretty crap! I think the design I have now is pretty efficient, although would have been better if I had been able to buy embroidery cotton when i needed it instead of sewing cotton, but alls well that ends well!
Here's how I attached my tzitzit (nic, pay close attention as you will be attaching your own!);

1. Lay the tallit out flat with the corner facing you, and lay the tzitzit on top with the loop pointing at the corner.

  1. Stick your thumb and forefinger through the loop of the tzitzit and use them to grab the knotted part.

  1. Being careful not to pull too hard on the loop sewn into the corner of your tallit, pull the length of the tzitzit through the loop of the tzitzit, pull a little tighter and you're done!
