Oh.MY.GAWD. This music video pwns my soul. It is so intense, slooww, and beautiful.
I stumbled upon it and yeah, top my list of music videos now.
Pretty boys, blonde hair, blue eyes, freckles. Angst. Gay. Field soccer kiss!!! Okay, it’s like death cab for cutie combined with the most beautiful slash fics ever? Blah. *shuts up*
And YEAY! I’ve been a good girl in school and have gotten good grades for my enterprise module. (shush, don’t ask the rest.)
But I’m really quite shocked, I didn’t expect to get 8 As in a row? My facilitator said that I was the only one in class she gave that many As to! *feels flattered but underserving* My class performance, my presentation skills aren’t that brilliant, not even close. I can name 10 other people who are just bloody fantastic in presenting, and ME, next to them? I’m just a stuttering fool whose vocabulary narrows itself down to that of a preschooler whenever I speak infront of the class. Blah.
Maybe it’s my reflection journals? I do put in a lot of effort and sincerity into my RJs :P cuz shush, that’s my secret how I ever managed to pull off my As and Bs. Hee.
It’s nice to know that ONCE in my life, I can do well in school? Be it just a module, but It feels like I’ve made an impact on somebody, the person who observes me in class and assigns me a grade weekly, that maybe, I’m not as small as I think, no more the high school student sitting behind tables, half-listening, half-dozing off in class you know?
The conventional way of education is crap. Is boring, is pointless, is ineffective and I’m glad, mark my words aye. I’m fortunate to be studying in the only college in Singapore which offers the PBL-system. It has opened my eyes really, there is much more interaction between the student-teacher.
Teachers are no longer the faceless data machines you meet in high school. Real teachers are real people. You get to know them personally, they become a friend, and honestly after writing 6 months of reflection journals EVERY SINGLE DAY to them, they probably understand me more than my mum ever would.
Ever wonder what made your learning in school so memorable? Certainly it was not merely what these teachers taught you. That's for sure. In truth, you remember them because they were real, memorable flesh and blood people. Likeable or not.
Very true..yah? So yeah, I guess that’s all I have to say. It was a huge jump from the education system in high school to college. I thought I’d have hated the huge change, but it’s starting to grow on me. :D
