Open Heart Surgery
Not most of you know, because I never wrote about it, but I was expecting a nephew last month. He was born on January 2, 2003 somewhere near midnight. They found out that he has some heart problems. The easiest way to explain it is that 2 of the major arteries, viens..whatever, in his heart are..mixed up. One pumps blue blood and is supposed to go to the lungs the other pumps red blood and is supposed to go to the rest of your body. His are opposite. The blue blood is going to his brain and to the rest of his body while his red blood is traveling to his lungs. Also, his major artery in his left arm, the one that's supposed to be connected to his heart, is connected to his lungs. So sometime within the next week or so, he's going to have to have open heart surgery. DJ, my brother, and Trish, my sister-in-law are doing ok, they're worried but stable. As of now, Taylor, my nephew, is doing alright. He's stable and they put an Angioplasty balloon in his heart to correct some of that temporarily. I may be missing a couple days of school, and David and I may end up going to Kansas City to see him before he has his operation. My dad has a semenar in Saint Louis to go to next Saturday, so DJ's going to have to find a way for me to get there, and he said that would be no problem. Also, I may get to see my mom again. He called and told her about it and she's trying to talk to some organizations and get some money for a plane ticket. I just hope everything goes ok!
In other news.....
We went to Green City. When I turned the car on, it started up almost immediately, without a jump. We bought a new battery and put it in. The alternator is all fucked up though, almost dead really. So, after a couple times of it turning on fine, now it won't start at all. lol. DAMN THING! So basically, until Rodney starts working on it, I'm screwed. I just really hope nothing too major has to be done to it! And David and I decided that after it gets all good and running and stuff, we're going to take a road trip somewhere. No idea where yet, but SOMEWHERE! It'll more than likely be summer before we get to do it, but you know, good fun anyway right?
Also, Just so you know, David, I love you more than anything in the world and I'm so glad you're mine. K, thanks...
