OMG of the year.
ok, today i picked up PF Changs for dinner. it was good. i was finishing up and i got my fortune cookie, and something clicked in my head. as most of you know, last week we had fortune cookies at lunch. i had one back then as well. i remember the fortune pretty well (as well as I could remember anything.): "You will recieve a gift very soon". i was kinda skeptical bout it, because i NEVER get presents (tho that cake was awesome.). but im starting to think theres some psychic dude locked in a dungeon somewhere to churns out these fortunes.
friday, was a pretty good day. we had a crosscountry meet, and i ran really well. 20:20, my new 'official' PR (since my last one was on a kinda short cource) by 45 sec. yay for me. well i got home and there was a letter on my desk from Purdue that said Congratulations in big letters on it. it doesnt take a genious to figure out what that meant. so, i had managed to make it into purdue. ^.^. im very happy bout that. but i guess that was the present to which that thing referred. wierd eh? who woulda thought that fortune cookie was right? well ill say now, im officially a believer in fortune cookies.
oh ya, todays said "You have your goals in sight, work for them" or something to that extent. well, i think its referring to crosscountry, and i DID get alot closer to the 20 minute mark yesterday. who knows?
