Contemplating Summer Trans Project (also journal hiatus till end of semester)

I love Yaoi and there seems to exist a vast wealth of Chinese scans. Enough, that I've started semi-reading Chinese scans for series that the English scans haven't caught up with yet (or just not working on). I wouldn't say I understand everything, but I can make out some sentences.
Well, since I just took two semesters of accelerated Mandarin Chinese traditional characters (2nd gen Taiwanese so I grew up around mandarin too) and am pretty handy with Photoshop, I've contemplated starting a summer project of scanlating various Yaoi manga from Chinese scans. This would let me practice my Chinese, have something to work on this summer, and be able to have versions of the manga I can read in my native tongue.
I have my eye on Ogawa Chise because I love her but not a lot of her stuff are scanlated. I would just work at my own pace and only projects I'm interested (and can get permission for the raws for). It would be less of a scanlation team and more of a "I'm doing this for myself and I'll share when I'm done because why not" sort of thing. Me working on anything would NOT mean other better groups shouldn't work on them because my versions would be low quality. I would actually really love if anyone picked up anything cus' that means I can read them without the work!
Don't hold me to this since I have to mcat this summer too, but if it pans out, I'll let everyone know.

Also I'll be MIA till school ends. I'm so busy...
