English:
Togainu no Chi (Nitro+Chiral & Chayamachi Suguro) vol 3,4,6- really random volumes, i know... I honestly didn't get volume 1 and 2 because it's scanned and they are ridiculously expensive being out of print and all. Regardless of what people think of the story, the art is fantastic.
Ze vol 5- Damn this was so ridiculously expensive I can't even... b-but I love Moriya and Ryuusei. It was so beautiful...
My Darling Kitten Hair (Kumota Haruko) vol 1- this one is digital only from Jmanga (why would you do that?!). I won't give you my digital hate rant here. There aren't a lot of Kumota Haruko titles around, but her style drew me in immediately when I read Nobara. I love her cute art style and her stories are adorable and slice of life. Kitten hair is about a cute yet realistic couple being adorable.
Mo'some Sting (Yamashita Tomoko)- I'm kind of a huge fan of Yamashita Tomoko so I bought this even though it's also only digital through Jmanga. Sometimes she can get really over dramatic and weepy, but she's not the usual stereotypical yaoi mangakas. Not a very satisfying story if you're looking for romance. It's more just about a few interconnected people revolving around a certain event and one girl.
About Love (Ootake Tomo & Konohara Narise)- This is a beautiful story about two straight adult men who fall in love with each other. The main dramatic plot is kind of ridiculous, caused mostly by a rather pathetic character. Don't let that description turn you off though. I can't really describe why I thought it was fantastic well in words. I guess reading a lot of yaoi and shoujo can make you accustomed to mediocre writing, and then it's shocking when it's not. I don't necessarily mean the plot, but just the delivery I found well done.
Apartments of Calle Feliz (Est Em)- Another heart breaking digital only. Est Em is one of my favorite yaoi mangakas, and like always I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Her usual slice of life, drama between lovers and just people.
Japanese (I can't read a lick of this shit):
Iberico Pork and Love and Camellia (Shoowa)- I'm a fan of Shoowa and her odd sketchy art style. I kind of just picked up the plot (or what I think the plot is) from the art. I enjoyed it without being able to read it. I like gangsters though.
Sora to Hara (Nakamura Asumiko)- I'm always glad to support Nakamura Asumiko! I actually bought this back when I thought I'd never see it in English, and if it did ever get licensed, I didn't want to support that digital crap. It came with stickers I'll never use. Heh. Super beautiful.
Endou-kun (Hayakawa Nojiko)- I'm a new fan of Hayakawa Nojiko so I definitely wanted to buy this. Beautiful in print. Just beautiful.
