After a chaotic day at work, I come home, on a happier note, thinking "I can finish the bodice for Ciel today!" and possibly get the whole base of the dress done, and tomorrow start on the lace trim. So I run downstairs after I get home, and start to work on the bodice where I left off last night, and while I"m starting to pin things together, I

are you sewing it as one? or as two? becusae if it's as two you'll be fine. as one well... the side in red jsut needs to be shortened which means instead of a zippe ryou might want to go for hook and eye closers. or a smaller zipper.

It's two pieces, and the pattern i have attaches the bodice and bustle attached, the dress/skirt itself is one seperate piece. And yeah, Chris said she saw a dress and jacket, and now that I'm looking at it again, I see that too, but I couldn't find any patterns even close to that. now THAT would have been much easier.
This is my day off, so I'm gonna have to run to Denver fabrics again today to get more material, hopefully they still have it, otherwise, I'm gonna have to figure out something else to do.
