Wait.... NDK is in how many days?!
So counting on the calender, NDK is in about 40-some-odd days, and I just realized I got a crap-load of stuff I still need to do! I got my machine working this morning after some difficulties, and got my Rin costume completed. I'm a little upset that the shoes are actually supposed to be BLUE not BLACK [that doesn't make sense with her color combo], but I'll just live with what I have so far, and I'll just buy blue ones at NDK.
I still have to make Melfina's poncho, and alter a skirt that I am planning on using for her, make sure I have a blouse that'll work, make some suspenders, and cover up a tie. I also have to make Gene's caster gun. Well, I don't HAVE to, but I want to. Other than that, I gotta look at my reservation for the hotel room again because all the sudden, I'm freaking out about that. I have papers printed up that say I have Thursday thru Sunday reserved, when I could have sworn I had Thursday thru Monday. If not, I HAVE to get that changed. Uhm... Oh yeah, still need to get Mel's wig and styled. Might have to get a trim before the con since my hair is getting long and I have some seriously bad split ends, plus the shorter hair will be easier to deal with when it comes to the wigs.
With Rin's costume, I'm just going with my natural hair, since it's close enough. I'll wear it one of the days I'm there. Melfina's costume is another day, though might be two of the days if I feel like it. I am thinking of bringing along Leon's!Esther as a back up for one of the days. Most of the costumes this year are very simple, so I'm probably not gonna be someone people are gonna be looking for in a crowd [especially since not a lot of people know Leon's!Esther, and Kakashi Gaiden only just came out in the anime, and probably no one is paying attention to Rin, while Outlaw Star, people have kinda forgotten about].
So between work and trying to clean the house still, I'm gonna be working my ass off with trying to get the costumes done. No time for being lazy, so if you don't see me online, that might be why, just message or call my cell and I'll do my best to answer you. I'm thinking of working on costume during the day, and in the evening, work on the caster.
