Now that I think about it, I can't really say I recall seeing this guy in other mixes either. The closest visual match I could find in some limited Googling was that of broccoli rabe, but these seem a little too delicate for that. Although the flavor is about what it should be. I'll ask the farmer when I go back there next week if we haven't figured it out by then. :-)

And holy basil! I wish I had a place around here where I had enough sunlight to grow it. I would definitely be growing all of the above as I, too, have a love affair with this plant. At the moment I have sweet and thai basil growing in my apartment, although it is definitely looking a little sun deprived at the moment. I need to negotiate with my landlady to see if I can find a place to put it in her back yard.

I think I'm free during that time. We should hang out.

That appears to be the rabe, all right. However, it could also be an unidentified asian green. There's a plethora of those.

I don't think so. The mizuna has much more distinct leaf segments.
