I got that part, but what does Munch mean?

I sort of meant it as an allusion to your monkeys being the ones who took the bite out of my π. Your joke brought to mind a funny image of a monkey being asked a mathematical question that is far beyond the standard mental capacity of a monkey and them responding by taking a bite out of your mathematical symbol, sort of as a matter of spite.
