1 day left!
I leave tomorrow!! aaahh. off to DC early tomorrow morning. My mom better let Tito come to the airport. I'm going to miss my baby! :/ At least it isn't goodbye, only see you later. I want to pack him in a carry on and take him with me. It really didn't take me too long to pack. I'm taking 4 big suitcases and all of my dorm stuff will be at Bed Bath and Beyond waiting for me when I arrive. Those pack and saves are quite convenient. As I was packing I didn't think everything was going to fit! Thankfully it all did and each suitcase will be under the 50 lb limit. Shit I have a lot of clothes now. I need to get some cold weather clothes though because I own like 3 or 4 long sleeved shirts and only one big jacket, which really isn't big enough for as cold as DC gets. I guess I'll just get one up there. It's hard to find really big, warm coats down here, understandably. gah as I was packing all of my shoes (I didn't realize I had acquired so many) I saw that two pairs of my pumas (the grey and the cream ones) are kind of dirty. damn it how do you clean suede??? I sprayed them with protector before I wore them. I think my mom is going to try to wash them. not too sure how well that will turn out. suede+water=? oh well. I have enough other ones to compensate I guess, but the grey ones go the best with this one shirt I have. That bothers me. grrr.
In other news I have had barely any time to practice this summer and at some point when I get to DC I have to play for the director. Supposedly its informal. Shit what am I going to do. I hope I can get my concerto decent in a week. At least it's not as hard as say the hoffmeister or anything, but still. And I haven't had a lesson in weeks due to my teacher being out of town for a while and me not having enough time because I have been getting shit ready.
Also I realized that the software for my new Chocolate phone only works with Microsoft XP and I have a Mac. dammit how am I supposed to load songs on it?? grrr. Maybe one of the computer lab computers will have xp and I can work something out. idk if you are allowed to do that though. probably not. oh well. i just remembered my old computer has xp so I guess I'll just have to try to load some stuff tomorrow. which also reminds me, I need to get all of my cds together. hmm.
