i got called out - it's been nearly 20 days since i updated my livejournal. it's true; i've been neglecting my duties as an internet participant.
where do i start?
senior project is rolling along at a break-neck pace. it turns out that, should howard and i ever find ourselves engaged in an exacto knife fight, he would be able to take swipe after swipe without noticing, and i would drop my knife and lose immediately. construction does not seem to be my strong point, as it takes me too many times to measure and, all too often, i cut poorly anyway. this doesn't mean i'll be attempting to build any less, this just means that i've lost faith in my ability to weild a weapon.
the plane is slowly taking shape, however, and it's nice to see something real.
i've been cast in two very entertaining plays! in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), I play the roll of Adam Long, the Shakespearean scholar who must, time after time, dress up like a woman. and vomit.
The other show is Neil Simon's Rumors, a tanitilizing comedy. Sooooooooooooooo. oooooooooooo. ooooooooooo. *gasp for air* can you guess who Lenny Ganz is? Yesh. Thish guy.
Shawn Caple did an excellent job in As You Like It. Holy Mackeral, the show went phenomenally (from the audience POV, anyway) and everyone in the cast did a marvelous job. It was a bit quit, but i get the distinct feeling that i was the only one catching some of the jokes. No further comments.
what else what else. ok, so tonight i'm going to see night watch, the theatre widener performance of the a thriller/suspense. i'm excited. if you want to go, tickets are free for students and only 5$ or something for other students. the show runs until sunday, so if you can make it, please do. like i said; i'm going tonight.
thursday, my pepband is recording a cd. that's right; MY pep band. i OWN it. and we'll be doing a recording session that i'm spaz-tastic about.
friday, i drive up to see the lovely jen fox in her dance show, works-a-foot. it's funny, because the the name of the show has the word foot in it and I have a... nevermind.
saturday, i go to the walnut street theatre with the lovely steff fellenger to see beauty and the beast. it's funny, because i'll be attending the show with a babe and i... nevermind.
well folks, i'll be around and hopefully more considerate. good luck with christmas, and keep your eyes open for either a short story, snippits of fiction, or a rant about how, um, great christmas is.
