Major change.
Today, I made a life-changing decision. I decided to do away with my Animation Major and declare myself as an Art History Major.
It doesn't throw me too much off track, so thats pretty good. I will be graduating after the Fall 2010 semester...if everything goes okay.
I'm pretty excited about this because I'll get to work in art museums and stuff like that. It will hopefully be easier to find a job in a more appropriate location too. LA is just not for me.
I still have a love for animated films, but the more I took it, the more I hated doing it. So, I'll finish out this semester and try to make some really sweet work, but still not have all that pressure on myself.
I can hopefully minor in something like Animation or Fine Arts...which would be pretty cool to pick that up since I'll be here an extra semester. I also plan on taking another Women's Studies course, so that I can graduate with some kind of Women's Studies honor thing that Heather was briefly telling me about. That's pretty exciting because I really do like Women's Studies...which is really surprising for me.
Well, I'm glad that I'm making this decision. My mom was pretty happy about it too, because then I wouldn't be moving all the way across the country. She said that things tend to kind of fall apart when I'm not around.
I'm much happier now.
