Five things I ran across during the day that had a positive influence on me and five things that drained my energy. I'm gonna try this out to see if it is therapeutic or at least informative to myself. So, til I drop it like I do many proposed routines [grabs hand weights and begins to make up for the last few days' lapse], we'll see how this goes.
Things that I enjoy, or at least that I find intriguing
- wedges of perfectly ripened avocados
- the smell of autumn leaves
- 1940s round toe heels
- thick black sharpies
- the process of decomposition
Things that I could do well without
- medical bills that show up months later
- sink knives that bite
- too many questions
- persistent weepiness over my salamanders
- homework deadline missed by 2 minutes... again...
