Yes, the Suncoast up here in Bangor officially rules. . . because I am SO addicted to strawberry pocky now. Dammit, Pat's working today (he works there). . . I should've had him get me a couple more boxes. . .
Life's going. Yesterday was fun - me, Pat, Josh and Caitlin took a stroll down to the Witter Center so I could visit my cow and play around with her a bit. Both Josh and Cait brought their cameras, so we had to stop at every pretty tree, view of sky, and trickle of water, but it was fun. When we got to the farm, I took them to see the lambs, so we were there for a good ten minutes getting pictures of them. It was funny.
(On to bag #2 of pocky. . . )
When I finally managed to drag them away from the lambs, it was more fun with hauling Rae around. First obstacle was getting her out, which was hard, because Rae didn't want to leave her pen, but every other cow did. It took Caitlin keeping the other cows back and another guy from my AVS 200 class pushing on Rae to convince her to move. Once outside, she began her usual being frisky, only luckily, it wasn't as bad as the first time. No being dragged or random laying down. . . and while my left shoulder still hates me, it doesn't hate me too much. Then I got to use the new brush and curry I bought for her. . . I wanted to tie her up on one of the bars of the cattle chute, but the only thing was a gate, so I ended up tying her in the oen and dealing with four cows trying to eat my clothes while I brushed her. Fun fun fun. Pat wouldn't let me near him after, because I was covered in cow spit (Caitlin and I had fun freaking Josh out with our cow-spit-contaminated hands. . . heh.), and the walk back along the same pretty scenic road was torture, because my legs didn't want to work anymore.
(Considering my third and last bag of pocky. . . to eat or not to eat?)
After that, we went to Wally World to get Josh's film developed, and then to Shaw's to buy a bunch of stuff to make dinner. It was pretty fun - Pat made steak, I my fried rice, and JOsh some homefries, and Caitlin gave the shoulder massages. *grins* Pretty good deal. We smoked up the apartment with the steak, but luckily, the way-desensitized fire alarm didn't go off. We finished cooking without incident, and watched the Iron Chef tournament on Food Network. I never knew bell peppers could be used in so many ways. . .
The unfortunate part of the great dinner was that we didn't go to karaoke again, like I wanted to, but I heard it sucked anyway. I prolly should resign myself to not going anymore. . . nobody else seems to want to.
(Giving in and eating the last bag. . . I'll get some more. . . eventually. . . . .)
Anyways, this entry is pretty much to keep myself in the habit of updating regularly. . . something interesting will happen soon, I'm sure! ^_^;;; That, and I'm just putting off completing my part of the group speech and writing out my character history for D&D. . . it'd talk about it, but since two of my fellow campaigners have me listed as a friend, I won't ruin it for them. *winks*
Anyways, no more putting it off, I suppose. Time to finish that damn speech. And that last bag of pocky.
