a very normal post on a very normal summer afternoon by a very normal grace :)

i think i should do a very normal entry every once in a while, with no pictures, no point, or excited jabberings about a specific event, or anything. :) right now, i'm going to write a very normal post, a very pointless post, just simply about anything that comes to mind right off the top of my head. :)

summer has been really enjoyable. :) but then, ever since i got back from pangkor laut resort ( on an island just off malaysia ), life has been pretty slow&lazy&hazy. it's just so dramatic when everything suddenly boomed from busywusy every minute to finding nothing to do for maybe half a day, or a whole day. i mean, summer's been really great-- having the priviledge to actually stay home and really do nothing & waking up at noon every day, and going out & having some fun once in a while -- who can actually ask for more? but everything just seems.. an itty bitty too slow.

but anyway, yay! i finally got the initial D that simon mailed the other day. i was literally going down every 3 hours or so checking my mailbox! i was so excited. :) jay chou was soooo cute in there. & he cried! and awesome songs too. eeek i thought he had a really good part. oh and, last friday when i went to taipei to watch madagascar and have dinner with tony and peggy, she said that jay chou is buying an apartment RIGHT NEXT TO THEIRS. i was shrieking! haha & only her family knows because her dad is like head of the town or something. i hope he's not just buying it for investment, because then i could.. pay peggy a little bit more visits ;)

anyhowaways, i also read a lot over the summer. :) i finished the whole shopaholic series, can you keep a secret, angels & demons, digital fortress, five people you meet in heaven, and flip ( a book my sister lent me that i found really cute actually ) and i think i read something else too but i forgot. and i got a new piano & a new violin teacher. the place is just a couple blocks away from my apartment, so that means i don't have to go to taipei every weekend starting from now. the piano teacher is really skinny & pretty & nice & funny & good. we talked about pretty much everything from nail polish to gosh knows what. hahaha. the violin teacher on the other hand.. just freaks me out. and i'll leave it at that. .

now i'm just really looking forward to the korea trip with soph on the 30th, (jimmynionio and my mommy's birthday ) and california on the 3rd of august. :) i really really can't wait. i'm going back for like 11 days and returning on the 15th of august. and on august 15th... well, i assume everything will just somehow fall into place.
