I am the Procrastinator!
Well, well, well, at least I checked out my friend's page before I decided to finally update today. Ahem, O.K., I'm low, so low. My only excuse for not updating is that I've been "out of sorts" for a while and I've been usually feeling completely drained of energy. So, anyway, I'm glad to see that most everyone I know is doing well and that their lives are progressing nicely :) As for myself, I'm kind of living the same life as when I probably last updated (umm...in October?). Helping to take care of my Mom is life absorbing but I'm getting by. I'm so glad the winter blues are gone for me...sheesh, enough was enough already! I still work at Jo-Ann's (yuck) but my health issues have improved (I hope I just didn't jinx myself O.<) and I'm feeling better, more motivated to pick myself up and get a better job/career. As for my mommy, she's doing well on her medications that slow down the progression of her Alzheimer's disease, but to take care of her is kind of like taking care of a 2 year old at times (most times).
In other news, the reason I write this evening is that I'm going to be taking a trip down to Bradley tomorrow! Why? Apparently the painting of "the sexy, black man on the red background" was not thrown out! (I actually can't remember what I titled the painting...*shrugs*) Moreover, I thought that painting was trashed on me and it made me sad but not too sad for I thought, "at least I have painting recorded in slide form." So, more to the point, I have determined that it is worth my while to go down to ol'Peoria to pick up my painting, even if gas prices are astronomically high...of course I'll have to disassemble the frame to make painting to fit in my car... (hehe, "No Number 5 Dissasemble!") Well, I guess I should wrap this up b/c I have to go and buy a pry bar at one of the hardware stores. Sheesh, I'm so tired from work today that I'd rather veg and continue to write entries but I'd rather not buy a "pry" bar tomorrow when I should be leaving town. Hmm, I should get going.
