Stupid people, think they own the sidewalk! RANT RANT RANT.
- Eric Duckman

This week's quote chosen for a number of reasons. First, a number of events in the past seven days have reminded me of this questionable cartoon. Namely very poor drivers.
Secondly, for the sake of nostalgia. I don't know why, but this was one of my favourite cartoons when it was still airing on Teletoon. Hell, I still like it more than Family Guy or South Park.
Thirdly, events at work on Saturday night had me wishing I could run some of my customers through a fax machine so they can go through a paper shredder in hell. Much like Duckman's abused squeaky-voiced plush employees, Fluffy and Uranus.

So Mom and Dad got home from Hawaii tonight. We just got home from welcome-back sushi. I don't think I've ever seen my parents so refreshed and happy. It's such a nice change from their usual state, which consists mostly of stress and exasperation. They've needed a getaway like this for 24 years, after all. Hudson was conceived very soon after they were legally married, so they leaped headfirst into the family planning stage of things. They haven't had a chance to just sit back and relax with just each other ever since, because they've had offspring to deal with all this time.
That said, it's pretty clear that they were still thinking of their three brats while they were enjoying their vacation. Mom phoned us every day or two (usually at 6am, waking me up since the brothers were usually still sleeping), and while they left two weeks ago with only two suitcases, they came back with four. Plus four smaller bags. They bought so much STUFF! Well, most of it was T-shirts (because you can never have enough T-shirts!), and they did buy those Hawaiian shirts for Hudson and Jason. Mom also picked up a really comfortable skirt for me. With a matching top! I love it not only because it's comfortable and pretty and really well-made, but also because when I wear it, it doesn't turn into a giant neon "I AM FAT" sign. XD
Aunty was with them because she loves abusing her employee discount. She works at Four Seasons, so she loves to pull strings and bring family along for a stay at a five-star hotel at half price. I mean hey, last year she did it in Vancouver for the sake of abusing her discount. Even though we were only half an hour away from home, she did it anyway because she's awesome and really just a big kid inside. Speaking of which, she sent me two of the most adorable plushie crabs. They're sitting on top of my computer. I love you aunty! ^_^
