Ooh, ooh, which version did you see? The one that was entirely bolded, the one which was half italicised, or the one that was partially underlined, or something else entirely? 8Db

The one that was almost entirely underlined because you wrote [/i] at one point instead of [underline], or whatever the hell the html is for underlining (replace the square brackets with smaller than/larger than signs).

Aaaah, look! I've used the edit button for once! Aren't you proud of me? 8D

It's [u] for underline, and yeah...my brain tends to autopilot like that sometimes.

Of course I am, bb! It's about time you used that paid account for something!

I can never find a use for this icon *sadface* xoxeskel February 25 2010, 11:28:05 UTC
...what, you mean my icon hoarding doesn't count as using the paid account? D8

(I just learnt that as a food, white rice is a waste of calories.

Guess what my shitty asian diet is entirely based on? :/)

Sometimes it is fun to use icons in completely inappropriate situations. lythdan February 25 2010, 11:45:59 UTC
Not if you don't use them. :B

It has a decent amount of carbs, I thought? I mean, isn't that the POINT of eating rice?

From what I gather:
a) too much carbs = too much useless energy (in terms of vitamins and crap). Remember, I'm trying to not become a statistic here; I refuse to gain five kilos by the end of the year.
b) there are other types of food with decent amounts of fibre that aren't as utterly useless -- ie: you can cut down on breads/pasta/etc, and still consume a sufficient no. of carbs if you pick your food wisely

So you're trying to un-Asian your diet? B)

A noble goal! How's the gym working out for you?

Reply

xoxeskel February 25 2010, 13:39:13 UTC
Hmmm, I'm still far to afraid to go near the actual gym (I refuse to go on a treadmill, fall off, and have a roomfull of hardcore runners snigger and laugh at me), so I'm attending a weekly class. Idk if it's doing much for me or not, but at the very least it's putting my mind to a little more ease.

What do you do in your classes?

xoxeskel February 26 2010, 10:37:53 UTC
Uhmm...this.

I apparently have less agility than even I could have expected. ;___;

lythdan February 26 2010, 19:55:41 UTC
Surely a treadmill would be less embarrassing?

The class is interesting in that it's a good place to people watch. There are people there who are actually fit, people trying to lose weight...people who are rather bad try hards and have a badly tatooed chinese character ('love', for the interested) between her shoulderblades...

No treadmills until I get my stamina up. Otherwise I'll get on the treadmill, only to like fall off in thirty seconds.
