AFA's this weekend!
Having spent the past week stressing over presentations and my costume, I am sitting here on the eve of AFA '09 with a sigh of relief. Tomorrow I shall smuggle my costume out very early and head on to AFA with a smile on my face. (My wallet, however, will weep, because I neglected to pre-register and hence will have to buy a ticket.)
Because a very wonderful cosplayer promoted Y.A.O.I. (Young Alchemists Oomph! Institution) at Cosfest, STGCC and GCA, I planned on doing a cosplay to be a counterpart, Y.U.R.I. (Young Urban Romantic Idealists). Actually I ought to have done it at GCA, but I was barred from cosplaying then because it was still Ramadan (sigh).
In the meantime, since my facesticks were by and large suffering from water damage due to this Halloween's misadventure in the rain, I have spent the day making new ones. I am very pleased with them.
