Sitting on my porch, drinking my coffee... and a young buck deer wanders on my thru my yard, not 10 feet from me... then saunters on down the road. A very pretty way to start my day :)

I saw a family of about 8 of them walking past my back fence the other morning. I've also seen bunnies in the neighborhood. All we need is some skunks and I could stage a live action version of Bambi.

I've seen tons of bunnies, chipmunks, a possum, a fox, possibly a beaver, but this is the first deer I've seen here

There's probably skunks. I think they're nocturnal and hard to spot (hence why you almost never see them alive, but only as road pizza).

Yeah, generally if you see a live skunk during the daytime, they're rabid.
