(no subject)
Jenn wanted me to update...so here I go...
Yesterday our neighbor's dog, Jesse got out and ran down the street. Kayt came and got Jenn and they followed her to the lake, then came back. Then my mom and I got in the car and went there to help out while Jenn and Kayt walked there. I saw her and went up to her, but she just kept running away from me. Then she went into the water and I didn't see where she went. I thought she had drowned, but I figured that was probably impossible since shes a black lab. Then I see her running back on land. At this time Jenn and Kayt are running to the lake to help. I end up following her behind all the houses. Then she goes back into the water, but luckily she turns right around and comes out. We are near some tall plants so there is not a big opening to get in the water and I am able to block like 1/3 of the entrance. I grab her collar while on the phone with Kayt and tell them I caught her, but then she starts pulling me and is heading towards the water. I fall about a foot from the water and am still holding onto her. Luckily for me Jenn and Kayt show up with the leash. It was exhausting. Then I went home for awhile then went to Kayt's where she said she thought there was someone in her house and she told us about her trying to kill a bug the night before.
Anyways...after dinner we went down to the lake with Ant and Mike and they were burning paper. Then they saw like a half dead groundhog or something and were throwing rocks and sticks at it. They also lit a small fire next to it when it started moving. They wanted to put out the fire, but were afraid to go near it. It like had no back legs but they were scared.
Well that was my day.......
