Chiana tries not to think about it, when they're all awake and alive and joking. But at night, when she can't sleep (and D'Argo's good in bed, but she's well past the stage of sleeping after frelling for hours), she finds herself there, in the corridor.
From there, she can hear them. Sometimes they're loud and obnoxious, and her own hands are quick and light on herself (you handled meself well, too). Other times, it's slow and tender, and she pretends there aren’t tears in her eyes.
After all, she’s Chiana, and she doesn’t cry because she’s part of nothing.
