Guardians of the Galaxy

IT WAS AMAZING AND I WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN.

It was everything I wanted, to be honest. Ridiculous and colorful and full of fights, arguments, explosions and people saving the day despite their upbringing which leaves them uninterested in the hero business.

And it was terribly Farscape. So many weird, alien things--all it needed was one or two living ships...

Otoh, the spaceship design was very Babylon Five (this is a compliment, B5 has some of the most amazing, complicated and weird spaceship design).

The best part was every time Gamora was in a fight, it wasn't pretty or polite. It was vicious and dirty and no-holds-barred (there is an amazing three-way fight early on that is perfectly perfect).

Of course, I was sold from the moment in the beginning when we're on a planet with Ancient Fallen Down Buildings, and the character there dances through them--he has, like, no rhythm, but I don't care.

Challenging Ronin to a dance-off was amazing.

Gamora and her knives!

The Hero Walk where Gamora is yawning, and the others are barely paying attention!

GROOT. omg GROOT.

Rocket and his guns and tech!

Even Quill was entertaining.

I just. It was amazing and I want a hundred more of them.
