sff: the Person of Interest is over for the summer edition

I don't know if I can articulate how hot that entire episode was--OK, I mean, like, the trial part was dull (Collier was always dull)
OF COURSE DECIMA WAS RUNNING HIM
(tbh, I was sort of speccing it was the Machine last week--to myself)
ROOT AND SHAW. They are amazing and THEIR FACES at the end. AND SHAW WENT TO SAVE HER. And they also kicked ass in their mission (I feel like making them all pretend to be normal people will only slightly hamper Root and Shaw, who are made of amazing)
And HAROLD. And Control. OMG, CONTROL, I LOVE YOU. Writers, thank you so hard from the bottom of my heart for doing that with her. For writing her as an AWESOME CHARACTER first, and then making her a woman. Because she was amazing, and her speech, her SPEECH in the courtroom, and saving Harold at the one point and OMG. <3 <3 <3 <3
I was so hoping we'd get Samaritan online at the end. I just wasn't sure how we'd do it--it was so inevitable that it would go online, and that we were screwed, y'know?
AND NEXT SEASON STARTS WITH MOSCOW RULES. MY FAVORITE KINK AND TROPE EVER.

And Hersch! I'm sad he's finally gone--I don't remember if I actually liked him until that time Shaw drugged him? But I appreciated him in a way. I think. BUT HE IS GONE NOW, nooooo. :(
I just. This was so amazing, and I am unsurprised at Decima.
However, however, I feel like the congressman (senator? idr) still has something up his sleeve. There was just something about the way he said stuff last week or the episode before that makes me think he's playing Decima in some fashion? idek. We'll see.
BUT CONTROL.<3
And Shaw and Root and Harold. And John. AND FUSCO. And Bear. Now we just need them all back for next season.
(I'm sad Carter isn't around. And I almost thought we would lose Finch at one point, there)
The end of the episode also killed me dead. I just. THIS SHOW. IT IS SO MUCH OF WHAT I WANT OUT OF TV.<3
