So, in poking around for In Plain Sight communities, all I saw were the normal icon/graphics/fic and a metric assload of Mary/Marshall. Even on the supposedly gen comm. So, since I don't ship that I thought I'd open a comm for Mary and her family. (the boys can come to, but only if they play nice)

Is Mary/Marshall really that popular from what you've seen, out of curiosity? (I didn't realize there was really a fannish community for the show out there, but then, I can be pretty, um, isolated.)

The last time I looked (about three weeks ago), it was still the only fic out there. And the community itself has 8-page+ long episode discussions.

Now, it could be only thirty people, I suppose.

Huh. The last episode but one when the show appeared to be pointing toward Marshall/Mary (unrequited), I was all annoyed because I don't want that from this show. But then, that's me.

not to be all whatever.. but I think I heard the sister call him that in the last episode I saw. the one with the counterfeiter. It is your comm and all that.. just wanted you to know I could swear I've herd her call him that more than once as some kind of affectionate term.

Yup. The insult originated with Brandi. But that doesn't mean it should be used. Not to mention, 'chico'? five letters. Raph is four.

never said it should. Just wasn't sure you'd caught that. I also wasn't aware it was an insult. I've never used the term myself.. now I'll make a point not to. (doubt it'd ever come up anyway..)

Brandi however.. can we send her a can of "smart" not sure it'd help...
