THIS IS LYSSIE'S BRAIN ON CARAMELLDANSEN....

No spoilers. G.

Bobby was dancing, hands up to either side of his head, fingers wigggling. He could tell he wasn't entirely in rhythm. But he was enjoying himself, and it was almost right. And besides, it wasn't like there were instructions or dance teachers who could impart wisdom into his skull with this dance. It was new, and it was only on the internet.

"What are you doing?" Eames sounded somewhere between annoyed and amused.

"It's a new dance--" he turned and demonstrated, adding sound effects, "Ooo-oo-oo-ah-ooo."

"So I see." Definitely annoyance.

"You should try it, it's silly, but it's good for the morale, y'know? Releases endorphins."

"That's what they said about the Duck dance," replied Eames, "And yet, every wedding reception that contains it ends in tragedy."

"Aw, c'mon, Eames. You know you want to--ooo-oo-oo-ah--ooo."

"I think I'll pass, but you continue dancing like an idiot." Grabbing up the file she'd been finishing off, she pointed her thumb over her shoulder, "I'm going to go get this locked up."

When she was gone, Bobby considered, then continued dancing. It wasn't like he had anything to lose. Most people in Major Case thought he was nuts anyway. Dancing like an idiot wouldn't do more these days than make them roll their eyes. He could handle that.

"Hey, man." Logan. Great.

The man had a slight smirk on his lips, Bobby nodded at him, "It's good for the limbic system."

Like that was a good explanation.

"Yeah?" Half-heartedly, Logan raised his hands and wiggled them a bit, "So, it's like this?"

"No, more like--" Bobby paused, then started again, finding his rhythm a little better, "--this."

"Oh. Oh, I see." It was Logan's turn to pause, then his smirk got a little wider, "They know you're dancin' on the city's clock?"

"Well. I was doing paperwork."

"Got bored?"

"Something like that."

Logan gave another half-hearted attempt at imitation, then stopped, "Y'know. Y'know, I should probably get back to doing that myself. Paperwork. Falacci gets a little... y'know, when I neglect it."

"So does the Captain," Bobby pointed out. He stilled for a moment, then dropped his arms, "I know I look like an idiot."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah." Bobby glanced over at Logan's desk, where Falacci was glaring at the back of her partner. "But it's kinda fun watching everyone freak. Y'know?"

Logan eyed him a moment, then grinned. "Yeah. Yeah, I know." He made a showy one-two, then mumbled, "Ooo-oo-oo-ah-ooo?"

"Got it."

"Right."

Bobby watched him wander back to his desk and then dropped back into his own chair. Apparently, he wasn't the only one who wanted to keep people guessing.
