I should post more often, yeah?
Not too much news lately, though. Wrapping up class projects etc, applying to jobs, looking at cars. Though in minor news, I'm apparently Officially Dating. It was massively anticlimactic, though. Basically I finally got up the nerve to ask if we were dating, he said "do you want to?" I said "yes," he said "okay," I said "cool" and then put my head back on his shoulder.

then we both laughed. Ridiculous. Though the rest of the day was mood whiplash, because I kept over-dissecting everything that was said about it. He said he's never sure how to classify relationships, I said he would know better than I would, etc. Nothing actually worrying, just me later thinking "shit, did I have to ask if we were exclusively dating? was that enough? do I change my Facebook status? is that weird?"
Different kind of ridiculous. But I'm still pleased with myself, I've been able to push back the panic almost as soon as it arrives. Yeah, I'm nervous and weird and new to this. But that's normal, he's given no indication that he's an asshole (quite the opposite, actually), and I'm keeping things in overall perspective. So that's good.
Tomorrow evening he's coming over to make beer-battered trout, since I have a kitchen and he said he'd share the deliciousness.
Soooo yeah. I bought my graduation gear yesterday, which is neat. And this Saturday I'm going home to look at cars, which is also neat. So close to having my very own vehicle.
Also I'm taking a second pass at making a Chowder hat. Because I really really want one. :(
