For my next assignment in Spanish 104, I had to write a love letter. Yes. So, I wrote a very depressing, rejected letter to someone I fancied last year.
Querido (hisname):
¿Me conoces?
Afectuosamente,
(myname)
Hopefully I got the tenses correct. Preterite vs. Imperfect trips me up a bit, but I looked it over a few times and think I've at least mostly gotten it.
In other news, our Faculty-in-Residence is opening his apartment for an event called Headlines and Hashbrowns. Apparently he does it every other Saturday (today is the first), in which he and his wife make breakfast for everyone who wants to visit and chitchat. So, I'm definitely going. I hope there are actually hashbrowns.
