Is it lying to construct your stories differently for different people? Not like, not telling something or changing facts, but like changing the tone...how it seems you may feel about it to keep it in line with who this person thinks you are or who you are to that person?

I suppose it is a form of lying.

But you are naturally different with different people and that isn't really lying if all those different people reflect who you are.

Is it lying if it feels honest to you?
