Hi Everyone!
Since I am stuck here in Texas, and there is not much that I can do here to help get Bush out of office, I came up with a plan. I'm going to do a spell! Not an anti-Bush spell, but a pro-Kerry one. I want to send as much positive energy his way as possible.
Anyway, I wanted to pass this on to all of you, so you can help, no matter what your particular faith or religious practice. I will be starting my spell at 10:45pm (Central Time) on Tuesday, October 27, because that is the moment the total lunar eclipse ends. I thought this would be symbolic since we will hopefully be coming out of the darkness of the past four years. My goal is to get as many people as possible to lend their energy to this endeavor through prayer, meditation, ritual, whatever you may do. Feel free to pass this on to others, the more the better.
Please try to do this at about the same time: 11:45pm (Eastern), 10:45pm (Central), 8:45pm (Western). Remember to keep all energy positive! Don't expend any energy on Bush. Instead, visualize Kerry winning the important swing states, visualize the headlines on newspapers, visualize the Inauguration. Hope and positivity are the key words. We want to build all the positive karma we can.
I'm going to be using small votive candles in red, white and blue and a gold taper candle, and I'll be focusing mainly on visualization, but I'll probably use my tarot cards too (Justice, The World and The Emperor). All of this is totally optional. All you really need is a few minutes and lots of positive energy. I know this is really short notice to pull something like this together, but any little bit helps.
