An update of sorts...
It's been a long time since I've updated.
Almost two months...
here's what's been going on:
work: hired 3 new people after jake left (manager) and the assistant manager (trish) became manager... one of the new hires wanted to do only opening shifts, after stating that he had full availability. this caused a bit of an issue... and then he just did like 4 consecutive no call, no shows during TRAINING... not cool. he was fired, of course. the other two new hires... they're great. :) that's all that's been going on there, really.
i was starting to hate my job... but i'm just getting used to the whole "go to work, do what needs to be done, go home, get a paycheck" routine now. i'm not nearly as affected by the "bad" customers or the more irritating ones. I'm not there to make friends or any deep connections with any of the customers. It's a job. That's all it is to me now. I hate to say it, but I've lost my passion for this job. i'm just waiting, though... hoping it will get better...
home life: same shit, different day. i'm just... "settling" in my current situation, but i'm dying to get out...
