Sorry. In other entertainment type news, I have just watched Trainspotting for the first (and second) time and it is good. Heroes continues to be an awesome show, January 18 continues to be too freaking far away, and I just watched The Bionic Woman and Katee Sackhoff is just about the most awesome thing ever. There's going to be a Justice League movie, and Jessica Biel turned down the role of Wonder Woman because she's apparently gone STUPID all of a sudden. I close tonight and tomorrow, but tomorrow's closing has the benefit of me not having to go in until 5 or 6:30 due to all the fantabulous overtime I'm accumulating. Boo to the yah, folks.
Also, I am on an excessive amount of caffeine right now and avoiding like hell the prospect of finding a dentist who will rip out one of my back molars which has apparently started decaying to the point where bits of enamel are actually falling out of it. I'm sure the dentist will try to convince me to get a crown, but as I like having money (and since I've ignored the problem to the point where I can stick my tongue INTO my tooth) I'm probably going to ask them to just yank it out for me.
Also, I am a brunette now. And I have been a bad manager these last few days, but I'm doing my absolute best to get over it. Furthermore, my schedule is going to suck for the next six weeks because we have to do a team building exercise on Tuesday as part of a morning meeting. Which means that instead of my usual 'close Sunday night until 10:00, wake up to be at work from 7:00-9:00 and then come back and close from 3:30-midnight' hell, I'm going to have this: Close Sunday night until 10:00, work 3:30 until midnight on Monday, be at work again from 7:00-9:00 and then come back and close from 3:30-midnight' which is pretty shitty. I may actually have to start napping from 9-1 or so on Tuesdays. The last day of this is November 13th, which is handy.
Having another keyholder should help out a lot - assuming we get one. I'm basically the closing manager, which I'm totally okay with and Jannine knows it. I close 4 nights a week every week in october (5 nights a week next week) which should be fun. Also, we wound up with some random Canadian money (which showed up as extra money, it hadn't been counted by the cashier) in one of the registers the other day so I took it in preparation for my trip.
EDIT: This is me not remembering to hit post before I go to work. Tonight was messy but I think I may have set a new record for fastest till counting since I did 7 in about 25 minutes. Though I'd done faster Christmas Eve last year, I think.
