Guys, yuki_onna's new book, Deathless, is out today. As she puts it, it is "...a retelling of Marya Morevna and Koschei the Deathless set during the Stalinist era and the siege of Leningrad. It is a return to fairy tales and the retellings of them."
I have heard an excerpt, read the awesome graphic novel blurb, and this promises to be a wonderful, wonderful book. Read The Master and Margarhita gave me a love of dark Soviet humor, and from the blurbs I have seen, this will follow nicely in that vein. (Nothing does dark humor like Russian lit.) And, Koschei!
