Lazy day...

I must say, I feel tremendously guilty that I've gotten away with such ridiculously pathetic performance this semester. Neither of my two jobs want to fire me, and I should get out of most of my classes with at least a B.

Okay, the breakdown of assumptions being:
ESL Teaching class: C+ (so yes, I will be retaking this one)
Intro. to Teaching: A
World Regional Geography: A or B (I have an 89% right now, and the final is 100 points)
Math as a Decision Making Tool: A
Instructional Technology: B or C (depends on the actual weight of projects & final)

One class was a joke anyway, and then the teacher died, so now it's even more of a joke (not to speak ill of her or anything...). One class I got credit for a group project that I wasn't even present for, and I told the instructor so, but she hasn't changed my grade accordingly. With the ridiculous amount of classes and assignments that I've been skipping, I'm appalled that I'm doing so well, to be honest.

Not to mention the fact that, even though I've missed tutoring a few times without calling in to excuse myself (at the middle school), my teacher gave me perfect marks. *sigh* The world really doesn't seem to care if I perform like crap.

Still, I will do a lot better next semester. I'm thinking about renting a rental car for the trip to MN, but it's ridiculously expensive: $415 for the trip, close to $700 if I also buy insurance from them. >.<# Not to mention gas costs. I need to talk with all parties involved, and make a decision soon. For better news, I'm so happy it's finals week, because now I have a bit of down time! *o* My yarns should both be arriving soon, too, woot!

It's most definitely nap time, so I'm thinking of cutting out of work early - I probably won't, though, unless they yell at me for falling asleep at my desk. Good luck with your finals, you crazy school-goers, you!

Love, Lyssa
