Update
HELLO! Well, it's been over a month since I updated, I figured it was time.
Things are fine. I had my first job interview at a middle school yesterday.(15 mins from my house!) 100% sure I don't want to teach ED. (Emoitianally Disturbed.) I knew before, but I went to view a couple ED classes yesterday, and now know even more that it's not for me. I don't feel like being cursed out and slapped in the face on a daily basis - I'm not down with that. I'd much rather take the diaper changing and feeding tube extreme. I walked in to an MR (Mental Retardation - I think it's weird they still call it that,) class and thought, "Yup, this is where I want to be." The sweetest little guy introduced his whole class person by person. Then got to himself with this BIG smile accross his face - so sweet! He was so proud of himself! I loved it. So we'll see where it goes. I have another interview on May 7th for a school in Park Slope. That should be good!
In other news, I took the CST on the 14th. Harder than I thought. They asked such RANDOM questions. It was lame. I did 4 practice tests and generally got about 70% of the answers correct...I hope that's enough to pass. I guess I'll find out on May 14th. I take the LAST in June.
Um, the weather has gotten really nice! I'm loving it because it's perfect - not too hot, not too cold. Although Saturday - it was a little warm. Almost too warm but still on the cusp. I am dreading summer. And I'm going to be out and moving, school to work to clas, etc. Bleh.
American Idol was SO cheesy last night. SOOOO CHEESY. I'm sorry, the long anticipated hyped up duet was RIDICULOUS! Elvis officially left the building how many decades ago?! Come on people. That's just retarded. Elvis is dead. My anticipation got jipped.
