1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
- Went on a trip with a boyfriend.
- Resolved past due issues with someone.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't even remember what resolutions I made last year, so apparently, no.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, my sister.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, my grandma.

5. What countries did you visit?
Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
Better friends, a better relationship with my boyfriend, a little more self-love as well.

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 1, Oct 5, Nov 5.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a raise.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not visiting my grandma more. Losing control.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing major.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Nothing stands out, I was too broke this year.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
A few friends I can think of..

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I'd rather not say.

14. Where did most of your money go?
My house, bills, my cruise.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
I seriously never get really, really excited. I was excited to go on my trip, but not til I got there. Oh, and the Superbowl. I do get excited about that for some reason.

Outkast - Hey Ya, Snow Patrol - Run, Coldplay - Warning Sign.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Maybe sadder, could just be circumstances of today though.
b) thinner or fatter? Thinner.
c) richer or poorer? Currently, richer, but my credit card bills are sadly a lot worse.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Write, go out with friends, exercise.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Cry.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Going to my sister's house.

21. Did you fall in love in 2004?
No.

22. How many lovers?
One.

23. What was your favorite TV program?
Simple Life, Desperate Housewives, Cheaters.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not really.

25. What was the best book you read?
Probably Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere".

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Snow Patrol, Rilo Kiley, The Shins (the last two thanks to Allison)

27. What did you want and get?
A dvd player.

28. What did you want and not get?
I wanted Dave to move sooner.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
29. Went to Wildfire with Dave and then Boogie Nights and the Coachhouse.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having Carrie and a few other long distance friends here. Being more social would have helped too.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
A lot tamer than it used to be.

33. What kept you sane?
Writing, music, my dog, and my friends.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
None really.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Hmmm... the election?

36. Who did you miss?
Most everyone.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
I don't think I met anyone new in person, except Wendy and that was short-lived. I've met some fabulous people here though.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
Long distance relationships can be hell.
