Chinese New Year has passed. Today, we are into the 4th day of the lunar calender. The last three days (Or first three days) of Chinese New Year was spent driving around Singapore, going to relatives' places to wish them a Happy New Year.
Preparation for each day is enough work. Packing/Cooking/Dressing up the kids are the main chores. Will be lucky to have some time myself to tidy up. Then, they mess up the place by scattering their toys all over the house.
Moments of shock, screaming, shouting, threatening with the cane later, we are scrambling on the floor/behind the doors/underneath the sofa/on the table and chairs/in the kitchen and anywhere else you can think of (even in the dustbin), to put the place back into the original state it was in before the mess occured.
Luckily for me, this is just the daily chores we face and no biggy. Only thing is the time constraint. Moving from one relative place to another requires some form of skill, rounding up the kids and wearing their shoes and making sure there is nothing left behind.
After three whole days of such activities, it is a nice break to be back at work, sitting around, having coffee and snacks, sufing the Net while facebooking and stuff. Sometimes, it makes me feel too comfortable in the office. Sometimes.
