Another Yada Yada post

Took leave on last Friday. Had lunch with Mama Bear and the Paedophile... Oh wait, new nickname for the paedophile. Called “豆苗" queen. “豆苗" as in young, innocent little seedlings. "Queen" as in like potato queen... Pity his "victims".

It was nice to catch up after a couple of months. Talk a lot of crap . From food to rumours, from jobs to religions. I guess it is always an interesting thing for me to learn new stuff, no matter how irrelevant in life or to me they are. It helps makes me more enriched when I start my crap... Haha...

Besides that session, sent my car for maintenance and an oil change. Like usual, I had to kill 3 hours. So, I took the MRT train (yes, I do remember how to travel on the train) to Lavender to collect my NRIC. Apparently, after you hit 30, you need to redo your NRIC. So many people there... Luckily, mine only took about 15 minutes.

Then still left me with 2 hours. So, I had a nice walk down to Golden Mile Food Centre (Army market at Beach Road) and had my favourite soup at the traditional double boiled soup stall. All I can say is, nice! Following that, I took the bus down to Bugis Junction.

Walked around BHG and saw lots of eye candy. Haha. Didn't look for long as I had to go Muji to buy some stuff. Picked up my car thereafter and drove home in a thunderstorm.

2 things that got me thinking.

1) When I was on the double deck 197, I saw that they still had the ticket machine where the old MRT card (The super thin and flexible one?) reader. I wonder why they never did removed that? It has been almost 6 years since the extinction of the farecard.

2) People who drive extremely slowly (30-50kph) in rainy conditions and still wants to hog the extreme right lane. Didn't they learn that the right lane is meant for overtaking? If you want to go slow, keep left! Only one word to describe. Idiots.
