Snowpocalypse!
Lacking an actual office, I do a moderately frightening amount of work at Panera Bread. Free wi-fi, plentiful outlets (though I always pack my splitter) and reasonable lunch options keep me loyal. Plus, coffee and tea are a lot cheaper here.
Normally, this place is packed with other people on their laptops. Today, it's a wasteland. All the locals on Twitter and Facebook are busily buying groceries right now before the great SNOWPOCALYPSE. We're expecting...wait for it... FOUR INCHES!
I can't imagine getting excited over 4 inches.
But wait! We might get another 2 the next day if we're lucky.
Well, now we're getting interesting, but this isn't full on Consumes My Every Thought territory. C'mon people. Sticky white stuff happens in January. Take a deep breath, relax, and you just might enjoy it.
I'm off to get milk, bread, and eggs with the rest of the masses. Apparently French Toast is mandatory on the morning after.
